I sure did notice that Fantom. I have only ever purchased one used car - my LSE - with a tow bar fitted and then I checked hard for what it had towed which fortunately was nothing.

I am always wary of not only what was towed but how it was used - read abused here- when towing.

    Hi

Seems odd to me that it's a 4.6 HSE yet it has less wood around the dash area than my MY99.

I would say that the interior of mine is as good, if not better than that one!

26K is about 10K too much IMHO

Mine was manufactured July 1999 but is classified as MY2000. I suspect the advertised one is the same. My P38 is also a 4.6 HSE and there is minimal "woodwork". Indeed the suede plastic finish around the central area (radio/HEVAC etc) has gradually become quite soft and scratches /scrapes off easily. Not sure what to treat it with...

Green Colour with cream interior - immac condition with PLENTY spent on 5.0L sounds nice & very tidy but he wont sell - Too sentimental to him.

Yeah seen that one parked on King Street in the city one time. Tiss a rather nice truck.

Anybody know how many P38 owners reside on this forum, in Australia?

Mine is a 1998 SE, and it has a lot more woodwork; the radio/HVAC surrounds are all wood. Maybe they cheapened out in the later models.

If that's on your '98 SE then it's an aftermarket (plastic) wood kit.

    Hey Ron,

Past tense used there... Have you sold it?

Also, thinking of something a couple of weeks ago I have no hope of creating. Are you bored enough for a technical P38a challenge ATM?

    Dave
