Looks like the new QLD owner of the higherr (Marcus) RR P38 hasn't lasted too long with the vehicle:

Judging by the lack of rego plates, I wonder if the Qld authorities didn't like it.

Mmmm - I wonder. Marcus had mentioned the new owner kept coming back at him. There's no mention of the LPG system in the advert. It had twin tanks in place of the wheel well.

Strange that the air suspension was totally manual.

Steve - Your stars are aligning. I've seen the vehicle when Marcus had it - PM me if you want an opinion and the story behind the vehicle.

Looks like quite a beast. I wonder how they would go getting a RWC with some of the modifications?

Correction - Marcus's username is highrr. If anybody is considering a bid and has questions, I'm sure he'd be happy to chip in - if you PM him.

At the current price, the owner is taking a big hit. Marcus bought it from a garage near Sydney, who'd prepared the car for a Saudi ($$$$) gentleman or some such. But they never came through with the dosh to complete the purchase.

There was piggy backed ECU designed by a whiz kid to manage the LS1. The engine bay is chocker. Marcus had extractors fitted. He also had Ashcroft lockers fitted. He also fitted the wheel arches and snorkel. And the alloy wheels and winch mount.

As mentioned, it had LPG when Marcus had it with twin underlung tanks in place of the wheel well. It launched itself very well.

I wouldn't buy without an inspection. It's certainly a unique beast. The description leaves so much information out - strange.

I'm not sure it's the beast for me, I primarily want a good towing vehicle with offroad capabilities .. the more the better of course.

I don't think a lifted suspension is such a good idea for a towing vehicle, but I guess one could calibrate highway mode lower!
