Thanks mate! Pete sent me a PDF version, but as you say, there are little to no dimensions.

Would be good to get the dimensions added!

Realistically, as I'm only chasing your bar and wheel carrier design (with mods to the wheel carrier so I can put twin 33's on the back), I'd only need those. The sliders, etc are not required!

Something I can take into a steel fab workshop and say "cut and fold this" would be perfect as I'm not close to any boilermakers at the moment!

Cheers (sorry for the thread steal Steve!)

    Hey Steve,

Great looking bar mate - very jealous. I have had my P38 for almost a year now and am starting to look at things to make it more of a capable tourer etc. I would love a set of draws in the back for the fridge etc so I am thinking about a rear bar.

Do you mind me asking how much it cost to have that bar made up by a boilermaker?

I see some of the other bars produced from companies are quite expensive so wouldn't mind an idea of what it cost to have it specifically made.

    Thanks

    Jeff

    Hi Mate

It was not a cheap investment; all up 3,500 including the rock sliders. You can take off about 750 for the sliders

Almost finished the PDF drawings with dimensions, for the bar at least. Just need to squeeze an hour in at work. The bare bar is cheap, less than 500$ if you get it lazer cut and folded in a shop then weld it and paint it yourself.

I also drew up variations for the swingaways in cad. A modified dual swingaway wheel version and a wheel with 2 jerry can version.

Will post the PDFs for the bar up soon.

Not sure I'll get back to dimensioning up the swingaway fabrication for a while. Busy at work again.

    Thanks Steve

Maybe a little beyond me for now. If I do go ahead with putting in some draws I might just through the spare on the roof rack.

    Thanks again

Looks like it didn't sell either! I'll give him a ring before I buy my materials.
