I have noticed this before but am more ocnerned now I have the extended shocks.

Near the crimp ring (where the rubber folds over) I have noticed samll cracks in the rubber when the bags are getting toward the full articulation.

I am concerned these are aging and eventually the rubber will split completely. They only appear near the crimp ring where it is usually folded. The cracks are all around the bag with each only a few mm long and only surface cracks. Almost like an old tyre look.

Anyone else had a close look at their gen 3's near full articulation when you start to see the crimp ring show? Do you also have small surface cracks in the rubber where the fold use to be or is the rubber just like the rest of the bladder surface finish? The rest of the bag surface looks fine.

I have sway bar disconnects delivered just on Friday but concerned to stretch the front bags further until I have confidence in the bags surviving or I have spares.

I will likely get some pics and perhaps contact Arnott themselves although I doubt they will just say yes here is another set of bags. I bought these through Hard Range July 2012 I believe and suspect Paul will help if I have any chance of replacement if they are faulty.
