    Differential bearings

I'm trying to find the part number for the Timken crown wheel bearings but without any luck. Does anyone happen to know the part number?

The LR part number is RTC3095 for both front and rear diffs, 2- and 4- pin variants ...see Landrover Parts Catalog You can probably do a cross check with the Timken catalogue to pick up the Timken number.

Were you able to get them locally for that price or did you source them overseas?

Just the local bearing shop (Bendigo bearings).
That's the third set of carrier bearing I've bought from them now and they've always been in stock, so I assume they're a fairly common bearing.

Check with Ashcroft that they don't come with bearings, mine did (locker, that is).

Definitely no bearings. I've got them both in the garage ready for installation.

Yep, apparently used extensively also in Nissan and Toyota diffs...
