Thread: rear seat belt buckle / clip

Hi, ok, my first question regarding my new to me p38.
The rear seat, behind driver, has a broken seat belt buckle ( the bit which is bolted to the seat.
I've searched on here and the internet in general, and still waiting for rave to download, so could any one please tell me how that buckle is removed? and hopefully where to buy a new one, it will be holding a child seat, so would prefer a new one.
It is the right hand seat next to the window, the buckle is the one which folds down into the middle of the double seat.
I have fixed the mechanism ( well hope so ) so I can now fold the seat down and get under it, but other than a few screws there is nothing.
( by the way, the fix on the mechanism was the bolts had come out of the end mechanism, the one is next to the single seat. So the mechanism just twisted when the back of the seat was folded down, on top of that, there is a tube with flat ends which runs through the base of the seat which connects to the middle floor catch. This had come off, so the catch was not releasing. A bit of a fiddly job, but I just pushed my arm through the base of the seat, and was able to reconnect, or push the tube onto the center catch, refit the lock mechanism on the end, now hopefully, it will work. )
Please tell me I do not need to take all that apart to do the seat belt buckle.

From memory you can get access from the top of the seat, access is very tight but doable
Look down from the buckle end you will see a plastic cover that sits over the buckle with a Phillips screw that holds the cover, remove screw and cover then you can see the bottom of the buckle bracket and mounting bolt
Remove and there you are
