I haven't played with Storey's V3 EAS yet, but he is a very smart guy and I am sure he will eventually get all the other ECU's sorted at some stage.

Until he does, the Nanocom and FaultMate are still my preferred all-in-one diagnostic tools for the P38 as they both communicate with all ECU's in the car. I like the portability and convenience of the Nanocom over the FaultMate.

Some people swear by the Hawkeye too. I am happy with the Nanocom as it has never let me down. Nanocom is not locked by VIN either.

Mate it looks good and is great value but from what I can see it only covers the EAS and the BECM. That leaves HEVAC, Gearbox, cruise control, SRS, ABS, ECU etc still to deal with.

If he adds HEVAC then it would cover the most frequently problematic systems

If you study the video on his website there is clearly a section on the software for the Hevac, unfortunately it is not demonstrated.

When I arrived home on Friday evening, there was a package waiting for me from PaulP38a, containing all the goodies that I need to clear EAS faults.

I was very happy that it was there, as on the way home, the same EAS fault appeared, and my car went to full height.
The cable and software that Paul sent, along with my other half's windows laptop, and the fault was cleared pretty quick.

The error is RR valve stuck open, but according to Paul (and a few other sources) it's more likely to be an issue with the height sensor.

This error only ever appears when I'm towing. Possibly because there's a very significant weight pressing down on the towball (around 300 kilos). Alternatively, there is actually an error.

300kg is a heck of a load on the towball... are you able to change the balance of the van to lighten the downforce on the towball ?

Just reading RSW Solutions face book page, he has canceled the HEVAC project for the P38 due to the , EASunlock V3 hardware and the OBDII protocol standards , what ever all that means . This was posted in july 2014 . Storey Wilson has does some great work and i am still keen on purchasing the new V3 software from him
