    GEMS Ignition coils

    Hi

I recently needed to replace my ignition coils and during my research I discovered that the coils on the P38 are used on a lot of Mitsubishis and some Mazdas

Delphi make a high quality replacement IGC-127

    8/89-12/97 Mazda MX5 NA 1.6L B6
    6/92-4/96 Mitsubishi 3000GT 3.0L Turbo 6G72
    12/92-11/94 Mitsubishi Galant HJ 2.0L 6A12
    9/90-8/00 Mitsubishi GTO 3.0L Twin Turbo 6G72 3
    6/94-7/96 Mitsubishi Starwagon WA (L400) 3.0L 6G72
    6/96-8/03 Mitsubishi Triton MK 3.0L 6G72

A cheaper path at around $70.00 and more readily available than the LR ones

    I assume that's a single coil unless those are a V8 MX-5.

Info worth having, Steve, thanks very much.

Hmm. I could repair my old pack and sell it....

Or just sell individual coils keeping one as a spare.

Nice bit of very useful research there Steve! Let's hope the coils resolve your problem.

lrdirect are going to replace the intermotor coil rail I purchased, so when I send your spare rail back I will throw in one of those coils (not the faulty one of course!)
