Forgot to mention two years and unlimited kilometer warranty as compared with 12 months on Bilstiens so why would you.

I have a P38 which is now on coils and i have fitted 2" over Dobinson springs recently the shockers i had fitted with the original coils (King Springs) they had failed and were not working correctly. I then installed the Dobinsons with 2" lift and 25 mm spacers to give that little bit extra. I had originally installed Bilstien shocks when i fitted the King Coils 2" lift springs they were ok but somewhat soft on the rebound. I fianally had enough and went to Dobinsons and asked for a real heavy duty shock that was suited to the springs i had installed. The guys in Dandenong went through all possibilities and came up with a set that are really designed for Nissan utes with heavy duty leaf suspension and 611mm full extension. The ring end is a B2 a normal Range Rover is a B1 the difference is the bolt hole size at the top of the shocker i removed the inner steel insert from the old Range Rover shocks and fitted them to the Nissan shocks and installed them in the new shockers. The car has never been so smooth and it does not lean on corners. I have given it a full rousing on corrugations and rough roads and i can say it is behaving as smoothly as the wife's Discovery 3 happy as![]()

So are these dobinson brand shocks frank?
I just ordered koni raid 90's for mine, in lifted 100series form![]()
They are Dobinsons own brand and were $140 each so considerably less than Bilstien the guys were very helpful in sorting the shocks to the springs to the weight of the vehicle (Winch, bar work front, side and rear) they are in Cheltenham road Dandenong.
