Steve, you are correct, there are 2 short brake hoses, one on either side above the rear wheel wells, so it is 6 hoses in total.
I can confirm the part number being ANR5916 as you posted.
My curiosity got the better of me after reading your post, I got underneath and sure enough, there is another short hose on the other side.
I guess I'll soon be back underneath replacing that 6th one as well.

There is no question that brake hoses deteriorate over time and I agree that it is cheap insurance to change them !
