    P38 Temperature gauge issues

Hi guys, its been awhile since I posted last, but, I recently took the P38 for some serious off-roading and while doing this the car's temperature gauge started getting erratic and eventually stopped working, it flickers occasionally but for the most part it remains just on the cold mark, it has also developed a problem with the clutch on the A/C compressor and clicks on and off repeatedly. Any ideas as to what may be the cause? I can't find any leads that may have disconnected through vibrations and there doesn't seem to be any busted leads.

If all your connectors are good, it could be something as simple as the temp sensor on the engine has failed.

As per Gary's post...plus moth symptoms as you've described them sound very much like dodgy connections, possibly earth points...check them "religiously" even if you are not "religious" Also have a look at your fuse box... check all fuses and relays are properly seated ...it could be something is amiss there as a result of your "serious off road" adventures ...
