    Sporadic EAS

Hey guys, posting on behalf of a mate. I've not had the chance to catch up and help assess the issue, perhaps someone here has experienced this?

It's ok while the vehicle is running, but if it sits for a couple of days the front bags go down, I have replaced all bags , valve block ,ecu driver, delay relay all with new parts, its really sporadic, sometimes the back would go down randomly the maybe one day the front would. Very random.

I have re-replaced rhr air spring because the one that I fitted blew out, I have adjusted height values to get the thing to sit level.
I suggested the yellow relay trick and he mentions that it didn't change. He has done the soapy water trick and can't find any leaks (and as he says, it varies between the front and rear end).

    Cheers

    That's got me a bit stumped. ..

In my mind I'd be wanting to find out if it's an electrical or pneumatic issue.

I know that a 4 pin relay should stop any electrical activity, but if both bags front or rear are going down then it would point to an electrical issue.

Since it should be holding air nicely, maybe disconnect the ecu for a few days.

Definitely pull the EAS relay and see of the problem persists.

If it plays up with the relay removed it has to be a mechanical issue, i.e. a leak somewhere

Sounds like it could be the non-return valves in the valve block. They often are the cause for the front or back dropping uniformily.
