That is a very neat and well executed bash plate and recovery point solution!

    Great stuff!

Do you have a drawing of the recovery mount points?

I have a terrafirma steering guard but the brackets are not the correct ones

I've got cad files on the work computer, with lazer cutting files for the bashplate and recovery points. I did a PDF drawings for the rear bar and posted them on the site previously, but none for the bash plate etc.
I'll look at posting once I can get a copy from work.

The recovery points can also be used with a hole cut through the standard bumper.

Can the recovery points be used without a bash plate?

Both on greasy clay where the A/Ts wouldn't cut it, even when aired down. First car just got through then broke the crust.
Very nice work. Love the cut up of the original bumper too. I have one lying around in the shed for same purpose one day!

Ron, you can use the recovery points on the standard bumper. That is how I originally set it up. They pass through in line with the chassis and same height as the original tow point on the passenger side. You have to grind off the old tow loop on one side and cut a slot on the drivers side of the bumper to fit the other side.

It is a snug fit for the shackle under the factory brush bar. With the bash plate fitted it is very snug. I had to grind a taper on the chunky supercheap auto shackle to make it easier to remove the pin.

I'm not making recovery points, but happy if others use my design.

For some reason the site won't let me post the PDF, or the DXF file / lazer cutting profiles for the following:
Rear bar with dual swingaway, in Wheel + 1 Jerry, 1 Wheel + 2 jerry and 2 wheel version
Bash plate and front recovery points
    Rock sliders

I'll have a go again once I'm back from work next weekend.

You may need to upload them to the Files area (see the menu bar).

If you can't, then email them to me at p38arover@gmail.com and I'll do it.
