Agreeing with the comments to make the car as a stock as possible when selling it. All your hard work and extra bits are worth near nothing when selling. Better to keep them for the next P38 or sell them separately.

Am facing a similar predicament myself at the moment. I am (99% sure) going to sell the black 2000 HSE but don't have a stock rear bumper to replace the custom rear bar/tyre carrier. 95% of potential buyers will place no value on the custom rear bar which cost me $2.5k, but I reckon I could easily sell it separately for $1k or more as they are so scarce. Likewise for any other enhancements like the Nanocom, EAS Bypasss, Gen III's, wood/leather steering wheel, iPod integration etc.

P38 novices don't value all the extra bits we put on our cars to improve reliability or on/off-road performance until they have owned them for a while. Then they get to pay through the nose like the rest of us

Deliberately left this response for a while to see if anyone was going to make you an decent offer!?!

If not, I would like to include all this kit as an add on to the HRA acquisition. That's if you do decide 100% to sell the "HRA Black Edition". Along with all the other bits you mentioned you still had, it would save me a heap of time and complete/create a great "template" for the range refresh and pre-production planning. Please put it all on our HRA sale inclusions list! Oh blimey... my cheque book is starting to quiver already.

If you do get to that 100% point, I will source you a good std bumper in your color as well. And even come up for a weekend to help swap it when I pick everything else up!!!

Is the black called Niagara? Give me the VIN and I will be able to look up the paint code.

If you were in Sydney, I might have been. I actually toyed with buying HRA when Hardy was selling. I was a keen and knowledgeable P38A owner back then.

We all hold you in very high esteem around here Ron. And you are still these things... you just don't seem to admit and enjoy being them anymore.

Perhaps it's all the 'luddites' you listen to in the rest of the site who think P38's are all flawed ****boxes and that their old farm truck style series landy's and defenders are the pinnacle of LR design and wisdom.

Around here we know that ALL landy's are good vehicles if well looked after. If JC can see the sense the rest will all come around sooner or later!
