They are a complex beast and perhaps that's why the Luddites put **** on them, because they don't take the time to understand the complexities of these beasts.

There is plenty of expertise around and plenty of parts.

Be warned though, they are quite addictive !

I can only cope with one complex beast in my life and I'm struggling to understand the complexities of her.
To keep the rest of my life simple I drive a Defender.

JC is a brave man. ;-)

Puhhhlease, the P38a is that ugly, non-performing middle child that makes its parents regret that holiday to the Greek Islands each time a school report comes back.

It was the car that should have been, between two cars that were.

But still, I want to see what kind of an animal JC can turn it into.

Wow, I'm sure it will be a very nice, comfortable, capable vehicle in the end. A definite positive from a project like this is you will know it inside out.

I'm a bit over mods and knock on dramas. I'd consider rebuilding the v8. While EAS is brilliant, one mod I would consider for a P38, from reading stuff here, is coils.

    Good luck JC.

The only people who say that are the those who have never owned one.

I used to think the same way & swore I'd never own one.
