    Smile Rangie is King

You've all got it right. The Rangie does it so easily and comfortably, but it does cause me a dilemma. Will it get me to the Cape and back or should I buy a smaller diesel Jappa?

I drove my '99 HSE to the cape on stock suspension (albeit with a snorkel), and a locker. I used the locker once (going downhill) and the mud tyres were unnecessary.

I'd do it tomorrow in either of my P38's. In fact, I'm taking my new one (completely standard apart from camping gear) up there in 3wks time.

You'll make it no worries. Just make sure it's serviced beforehand and you'll be right. Adequate (but not unnecessary) preparation is all it takes.

    Cheers
