Roof top tent?
If you sleep in the back of the Rangie, does that mean its contents go into the tent?
Maybe the tent is the problem. I'm a big believer that a good tent goes up and comes down easily and quickly so that it's not a highlight of camping.

Roof top tent?
Hey Ron check out my pics in earlier threads I did this with Fantom some time ago with fridge sliding out of driver rear door & storage behind that with drawers opening out of rear tailgate. I did this so I could leave passenger side rear seat in place & have been folding up at night when I sleep. Is a bit tight though so I have just removed that seat as well as I no longer carry passengers these days other than occasional ride somewhere with missus. I keep a small single blow up air mattress on board & sleeping bag. Works a treat, plus I created a split rear spare wheel hatch so I can access all the other stuff ( & there's quite a bit of room in there for tools chainsaw spares etc ) as I cant fit spare 33" muddie in there anyway. Also fitted light in there for finding stuff in dark.
Will be moving Becm from under driver seat into storage compartment near fridge soon tooso no more drownings! If that works well next will be computers under passenger seat. As you mentioned it also gives plenty of storage space when not being used or on way to camp spots too!
Thanks Martin. I hadn't followed that thread after the snorkel was finished. That's just what I was thinking of doing except for adding a drawer that is sideways sliding from within the bunk to put a book or magazine, reading glasses, medicine (stuff taken at bedtime) etc. into
I hope you don't mind but I split the drawer system posts out into a new thread: P38A Drawer set up.
It looks like I won't be reassembling the inside of my car this week after all.
I don't suppose you sketched it up with dimensions?![]()
