    UK-delivered vs Aus-delivered P38s

Hi everyone, I gave the Rangie a good clean and thought I'd take some photos.

It's just turned over 80,000kms, so had an oil change. I've done around 7,000 ks in it now.

You might recall it was bought new in London in 1996 by the previous owner, and eventually imported into Australia in 2008. But I wanted to ask if some items in mine were only for the UK market? I've not noticed them in others I looked at here - however I could be wrong!

Firstly, there is a LR-branded large case tied up in the boot, which just has (unused) netting, boot tie-downs and spare globes in it - but it looks like it might have held something bigger??

There is also a Land Rover screwdriver set on the back of the rear seat, with tape still wrapped up:

Then there is a fire extinguisher in front of the passenger seat - Land Rover brand:

The wheelwell looks like it's never been touched, but doesn't have the goose neck towbar, just the spot for it:

    spare.jpg

And finally, mine doesn't have the 'flip over' cupholder setup for the centre console, it's just a lidded 90s phone storage spot:

Anyway, thought you'd be interested.. Cheers

Those are all optional ACCESSORIES, the bin is a storage bin, not for anything particular it can be used for anything.

The fire extinguisher might be there because it is a required, along with safety vest, warning triangle and other things, for driving in Europe

Mine (sorry .... Hers!) was privately imported in 2001. Two major differences are the walnut trim (it's everywhere, but the crappy glue used hasn't stood up to the Aussie heat ) and the key fob doesn't like Aust phone towers! Have to use the key in the door sometimes. (I disconnected the immobiliser as soon as I got a Nanocom)
