So, I have a bit of a strange activity in what sounds like the drivers side door module (I have a LHD car) when I put the key in the acc position. The sound resembles the clattering of a relay. When I try to lower the driver side window nothing happens but the clattering increases (it seems) and the sunroof opens.

When I turn the ignition to the "on" position the car comes back to life, the clattering stops and the window switches work as advertised.

I have but a single clue where to look for the fault; if I leave the key in the ignition with the door opened every now and then I get the BEEPBEEPBEEP that I left the key in the ignition, as if I am opening the door and closing it so this might suggest the door open sensor?

Of course this happen when I am 2200K's from home, deep in the swedish bush... Fortunately it does not stop me from driving but having windows open at random which potentially won't close is a bit of a worry.

Anyone with any ideas?
