to sort the oil pressure thing.
turn the ignition on. the oil light should now be on. then remove the connector from the oil pressure switch and the light should now be out. earth the connector and the light should come on again if so stop panicing,
connect up the oil pressure switch again and start it if the oil pressure light goes out you have the required 8psi minimum of oil pressure to support idle (it would pay to try to get a propoer pressure gauge in where the low oil sender is to make sure you get full oil pressure). oil pressure should be up in less than 10 seconds.
