sounds awesome!! Wonder if my 3.9 could sound that good. I'm running stock manifolds with two Lukey Ultraflow mufflers.
It gets really crackly like a Holden 253 once the revs pickup.
    ****s me to tears......
    Really....
Like drivin an English Sandman PV, but try finding the space to fit two mufflers under there...

Do you need to fit 2? I've only got the one in mine. Seems odd that it goes from 2 pipes to 1 then back out to 2 again but the guys at Hi Tech mufflers assure me it's perfectly fine setup like that... Is this right? Seems fine...

The later P38A were changed to a 2-1-2 pipe exhaust to reduce drive-by noise levels.

How did you lean the P38A into the corners?

Where did you get the extrctors?

    Hi,

your setup is pretty much what I am looking for, some minor differences but the main thing I want is extractors. I have looked around and it seems they need to be customised to suit the P38. I have a 2002 4.6 HSE and I would love extractors. Can you tell me what you used, please?

    Cheers Mick

Sorry Mick, the extractors were already on when i got it - bit of Frankenstein since it also had the tiny cats and Commodore muffler!?!?

Sob sob... it seems I am left to do it myself.

Cheers for the sounds though, very cool rangie noises. Eventually I will go for a set of extractors to some good cats into a single pipe and good muffler and out a single pipe at the rear.
    Thanks again
    Mick
