99 Range Rover central door locks actuating
Hi all, I have a quick query regarding the central locking unit of a 99 Range Rover. I noticed while driving that the locks seem to lock and unlock (actuate) occasionally, could this be a loose wire? It seems mainly to be the rear doors. Any help would be great, seems to be the only problem at the moment. thanks, Ren

Hi Ren - I had a problem recently with my rear doors where they wouldn't lock/unlock properly so I took the covers off, jiggled around with the mechanisms and spayed some WD40 on the moving bits. Now they are working fine.
Not the exact same problem as yours but might be on the right track. For your wallet's sake I hope it is not an electrical or computer problem.
Cheers, Paul.

Hi Paul, thanks for your help, that sounds like a good idea. The problem has only been intermittent, so yes, could just be a case of adjusting and some WD. I've fiddled around with the child proof lock switches too, which I thought may have aided the problem. thanks again, Ren
