    And the wheel fell off!

    G'day guys,

Had an interesting trip to Canberra and Sydney last week. Among other things the left front wheel fell off about 80 kms south of Wodonga because the service people had forgotten to tighten the wheel nuts! And I hadn't checked!

Paul Cordwell in Canberra, Ron Beckett and Erich Ebe and Andy Ebe in Sydney were very helpful and friendly. We eventually got home to Geelong with everything going really well. I have written up the story in my blog - you can read it here:

    if you'd like to.

Let me take this opportunity to make that thank you public. To Paul, Ron, Erich and Andy, Thank You!

That was a good read Willem. Glad you got home safe and that the trip was worthwhile, other than the runaway wheel of course.

    Cheers, Paul.

    Nice write-up, Willem.

It was good to meet you at long last after missing you a couple of years back in Geelong. (I could have sold you my P38A back then!).

I'm pleased the aircon stayed working. That failed relay looks so flaming small for the intended application. I think a spare in the kit might be a good thing. Did you fix the horn after I swapped the relays?

    All the best,

    Ron

It sure was a scorcher on both the days you were over Willem. Still is very hot today and yesterday was hovering around the 40 degree mark, but at least we had some welcome rain late yesterday - around 23mm here. The lawn is a bit less "crunchy" now

Again, glad we were able to help out. It's always a pleasure to meet members and put a face to a name, so to speak. It's almost like having one big extended 'family'....

    All the best

I certainly thought you went above and beyond the call of duty on that day Erich!
