    big prob's for rangiep38!!!!!!!

    first off like to say a big cheers to stu for bringing me a thermostat and housing last night

    NOW i put her in this morning filled her up when she got hot the coolant resi went nuts!!! bubbling like crazy which olny means one thing?????

    looks like its time to use my total care from RACV and get the toe truck here.

    just want to say thanks to everyone who tried to help!!!!

    My condolences to your bank balance Simon. Been there, done that and been several $k worse off because of it.

    Make sure they use the new style heavy duty gaskets rather than the old style. My previous set (old style) only lasted about 3 years on my "old" P38A.

    Can't remember what the material of the new style gasket is, but I'm sure that someone here will know.

    cheers paul hopfully get her up and running soon, lookin at about $1800 which isn't too bad considering what else he will find in there to fix lol.
