    noisy ABS pump

    Hi,

is it normal that one can hear the ABS pump inside the car?, or does it mean the mounts are worn or pump is getting old?, thanks.

I have been told that they hardly ever stuff up at the pump, as it is normally the motor which dies, In which case, you wouldnt hear it at all (plus a light on the dash).

New mounts may be in order.

I can hear mine, but its never been any louder in the 10 years i have had it. But once the engines running you hardly notice it.
