Thread: Where to find Land Rover wheels?!

I saw the below online and for the price, couldn't resist. I didn't really plan to use them on the P38 but thought they might come in handy in the near future.

I won them for $182 !?

As all things, it was too good to be true. The seller sent me a message saying that he had meant to put a buy now/minimum price at $550 and will be re listing them.

On one hand i think, "hang on, you've sold them - if you stuffed up that's you're problem" but on the other hand, they really did go at a crazy price and i don't want to be a mongrel about it... wondering what others would do here??

(might be worthy of a new thread/vote?)

I can't see the eBay page but Defender wheels won't fit a P38.

Unless you plan to use them on Defender/D1/RRC, you might as well let him keep them. They won't fit a D2 or P38A.

If you want them anyway, then it's not your problem that he stuffed up. If he reneges, you could report him to eBay.

Ivery819 might have some 18" RRS wheels for sale.

His mistake for not checking the listing fully before pressing enter.

You won, get them and as they won't fit the P38 sell them on and make some $$$.

Couldn't do it to him and let the deal slide - i wouldn't feel right profitting from someone elses mistake
