The dimensions are here in pdf form and a couple of other photos to add to the previous post i included side steps i made they worked a treat up the bush last trip. the rear bar is 3mm plate all pieces except the mounts which are 5mm i also used 5mm plate for the stricker and as support for the upright pin. Have fun hope you get something that you enjoy and does the job for you the local steel guy in Morwell was a great help to me as far as shaping and bending it became a ikea flat pack job sort of i just had to weld it. i also have to finish the job been away for months no time to finish the job will do it this week

Well, due to an unfortunate accident involving my Rover in reverse and a tree that appeared out of nowhere (read: I bloody-well backed into a tree ), i'm now shopping for a new rear bumper.

Any recommendations? If possible i'd like to retain the OEM look.

I came across a few pics of a Kaymar bumper that looks similar to the OEM bumper on RangeRovers.net. I think its of Ron's P38.

damn trees, they're sposed to stay put.
I'll be looking for a bull bar for mine, I'd always liked the Gitsham (had one on my first disco) and ARB alloys or whatever they are but feeling here seems to be very negative on them?

I have just read in a UK LRO mag that terrafirma 4x4 have a new winch and rear bar for the 38. (TF007) I think they must be just starting it up because I am yet to see any pics...

Well the rear bar was delivered last Thursday week (11th). Have to say the quality is very good, and seems indestructable. Weighs about 45 - 50kg.
There's two 8mm plates that need to be welded to the outside of the chassis rails that the bar bolts to, so I'm yet to work out what I need to do ECU wise to get the welding done.

    Overall very impressed.
