    Congratulations Guys, good to know it's in safe hands.. If you need some one to hold stock in Perth I would be happy to ask around?

    Congratulations guys.... Now because I started the post that made all this happen do I get a free bullbar?? Just joking! I am however still very interested once everything is finalised and you have the stock etc.. Will be great to have some enthusiasm in P38 aftermarket accessories, not to mention the reunion of the HRA P38 with the business

    Other Items for the NEW HRA to consider...

    Well done and good luck Andrew and Paul!

    Not that you 2 very smart cookies need any help, but I would like a place to buy competitively priced (read as cheap as possible!):

    - snorkel system;
    - underbody bash plates;
    - light covers (brush guards) front and rear;
    - dog barrier/cargo barrier (again like original accessory);
    - chassis mounted rear swing arm (that doesn't require bumber or light replacement);
    - clear lense kits;
    - those cup holders that clip into the centre console above the stereo!!!

    Not sure about how the rest of the world views it, but I would be wrapped if some enterprising individuals took samples of all these things across to a Chinese trade fair and got some cheap but reasonably hard wearing versions of these made... Where copyright issues impede (like perhaps if copying original brush guards), I am sure you guys would be able to make the necessary style changes to improve the design and still keep things landed and retailed cheaper!

    Assuming all that works out fine, you can put me down as first refusal on the VIC Franchise for HRA!

    Again congrat's and best wishes with the new business!

    prototype snorkel should appear on my car within the next few weeks

    Yeah, good idea. The factory ones are pretty crap. I have broken a couple of the rear ones on mine. I'd prefer a mesh design to the slotted plastic.

    The original is pretty flimsy. Had it for my previous P38A but never fitted it. Think it is in Remy's car now. I want one I can actually hang stuff off without fear of the whole thing falling down.

    Hardy had one of these on my car originally, but abandoned it as a bad idea. Willem has it now and has adapted it to his car. I noticed that Bruce Davis has a good looking swing arm that uses the original bar too. The HRA rear bar/carrier is also in the "back of the envelope" design stage and subject to "robust discussion" as to where the arm goes/rotates about, what materials, finish, add-ons etc. It will be a replacement bar though, to keep in line with the front bar(s).

    maybe if we do a bulk order from a UK/US supplier at trade price we can get the selling price down.

    I can't use mine at the moment due to the new stereo I have been giving some thought to how we might produce an alternative cup holder kit though... just ideas at this stage.

    noted, thanks

    We've got lots of ideas for other stuff too, but don't want to turn this in to a product announcement thread or make it sound like an advert.

    We are still getting our heads around what we've gotten ourselves in to,... have set up the company and ACN, but waiting for the ABN, GST, FBT registration to go through... then we can set up the bank accounts. Also looking at e-commerce solutions, and re-establishing relationships with suppliers. The current website is a placeholder with just a few sample products and a pic of my car

    It is quite a distraction from my day job, but I think it will be a lot of fun too.

    Cheers, Paul.

    I think Hardy was smart!

    I have finally cobbled together some of the multitude of bits I got from Paul and made it into a workable swing arm/ spare tyre carrier. I wouldn't do it again, though! Next time I'll spend the hours in working my business and buying one that Paul and Andy design thru HRA!

    But having said that, it now works fine, though I haven't had the time as yet to set up the number plate light. I have this nice LED light sitting on my desk ...

    Pics when I get the time!

    Willem

    I'd be interested to see how it turned out. Is the wheel more in the middle than pauls?

    Ron - did I offer to buy this off you once before, and something happened like I drowned my Rangie and almost lost interest in them until my wife slapped sense ( or not) back in to me?

    If Razza doesn't want it, I'll buy it off you if Andy will make it fit (and the car still runs)

    Cheers, Paul.
