Anyone have a spare EAS Driver I could try?

    Howdy Folks,

I'm still having loads of trouble with my EAS , fidgeting self levelling and to make matters worse sometimes it won't even accept new calibration values.

    In short:
-Valve, compressor and driver were replaced by previous owner two years ago.
    - All new air springs (all OEM)
    - All new Height sensors (two britpart and two OEM)
    - Slight leak from rear left suspect valve block somewhere, will fix when next removed.

See my thread here for what I have and haven't replaced RangeRovers.net • View topic - EAS, tried everything still Fidgety

So as a last resort does anyone local have a good working EAS driver that they can lend me to prove whether mine is faulty before I spend on a new one?

    Any help.

Little black box that bolts onto the side of the valve block.

The solenoids can't be controlled directly via the computer, ie you can't just grab a solenoid and give it 12 volts as it will burn out. The driver box pulses the solenoids.

And cleverly they have a few transistors inside capable of operating at up to 50-60degrees. So as you can imagine the engine bay gets quite hot. Also when they fail they are just very erratic and there is no way of knowing definitely without swapping with a known unit.

I think the EAS on the P38 and rangie classics was the final grand project of the "Prince of Darkness" , Lucas, if i'm going down i'm taking you with me.

even funnier than that Stu... the EAS is a WABCO unit.

Sure, WABCO do suspension and braking for trucks... but they are owned by American Standard... who are best known for their toilet products

    made me laugh anyway
