This is very out of character - I think there's going to be some Camelbak bladders full of Red Bull, and No-Doz suppositories being taken in the back seat of the 130 on the way down .

Still without gloves thou, need to find a good LBS that has a good range of open finger glove so i can try some out and get myself a pair.

Get full fingers! Half finger gloves are for roadies .

Oi! I usually ride half finger Except in winter when my little fingies get cold Plus it's way easier to pick your nose with half fingers

Folks - I'm heading out for my first MTB ride for the New Year as above. This will be an opportunity for novice riders through to expert, and both will be there! Capt. Foot! Come along. There are beginners tracks here I can show you.

Allow 2 hours from leaving the carpark on your bike to returning to carpark on bike. Have enough water for this timeframe.

Maybe post up attendance so we know to expect you and wait if necessary.

Do it when you get home, which should be no later than 9.30am.....that's one reason to ride early rather than mid afternoon!

PS - I've invited a mate I used to ride with - and he'll blow everyone's doors off - on a single speed MTB! See you Saturday morn.
