    Forrest 6 Hr

    Hi guys,
Is anyone doing the Forrest 6 hr this weekend. If you are, look out for a biggish unit on a silver Giant 29er, most likely I will be wearing a Forrest Brewing Company top. Make your self known if you see me

    Hi magilla,

I've been wanting to get down to Forrest for a while now to spend a few days on the trails there. It sounds like a great place for MTB. The biggest hurdle has been getting the 130 completely finished and up to full touring spec. I'm keen to hear how the week end goes .

The motor home sounds like a good idea. I'm sure Chalker will be more than happy to organise it for us.

Hi guys, 400 competitors signed up, the weather was pretty kind, a little moisture in the morning made the trails a bit slippery and fun, but then they dried out a bit and were fantastic. The partner and I took out second in the mixed pairs 40+ after having held first all day.

If you guys ever come down this way, you can camp at the caravan park for ten bucks a head or at Lake Elizabeth and Stephenson's falls for Nix, there are also a couple of B&B and a guesthouse. make sure you give me a yell as I am more than happy to show any one around the 60 odd K's of trail, and then have a beer at the brewery.......even Geelong supporters
