Giant VT1 rebuild - slowly getting there

    Hi all

Slowly getting there with my rebuild. Been a bit distracted with other things that have seem to take priority in the "need to be fixed" department (Defender, Series 3, KTM dirt bikes...)

All drive line components have been upgraded to Shimano XTR gear, new Fox shocks front and rebuilt rear, new Maxxis Minion tyres

Last on the list is new disc brakes. I normally buy bits from Chain Reaction, but the M987 (latest model disc brakes) are out of stock so will have to wait for a bit.

    so stay tuned

What era is the VT1 from? It is interesting looking through the giant timeline amid seeing how they have riddled with the different linkage designs

I think it was mid nineties to early noughties, just before they brought out the maestro linkage bikes.
