Thread: What are my storage system options for my 1994 Disco S1 5 door

Hi Everyone,

Im new to this form and this is my first Land Rover as well as my first car. I am here for a year and would like to tour Australia. I would like to build my own storage system with sliding drawers, sliding fridge, swing out kitchen and a roof top tent. Can anyone give me any ideas or direct me to any pictures of some that have been kitted out. Anything would be appreciated, and cost is a factor as well, as I will try to build as much of it as i can. i will be taking out the back seats so I have all the cargo area to work with.

One option I was thinking about was having a false bottom and a slide out fridge out of one of the back doors. Having a swing out kitchen of some sort, some drawers and a table that folds down from the boot door.

Also I cannot afford a roof rack for my rooftop tent, so any pointer how to make one would be appreciated. I was considering getting some 280mm rhino gutter roof rack and making a metal bed on it. Is there any tutorial or better solutions to this?
