Hey all
After dinging a couple of fuel tanks we thought it was time to build a gaurd/bashplate to protect the underside of the tank.
first we made a frame that bolts onto the swaybar brackets and 2 angle brackets we welded to the chassis, then bent up a bit of 2.8-3mm steel plate to suit the frame.
Instead of wasting time bolting the plate on the mig got the nod
Then abit of shiny stuff
And all bolted up and ready to go
The only concern at this stage is the rear brackets stick out a little bit to far and might get hooked on obsticals off road...will soon find out!!
CHEERS TIM.
