DEFINITELY Lou!!! Some nice seat covers like the ones Derek has in his Puma would be much more practical for us.

...Plus it would be easier to get the Landrover into undercover car parks without the roof rack.

    (I'm working on it)

Did you keep track of hours and parts cost?
Hi, thanks for your kind words. We have been keeping track of expenses.

As for hours, no idea. I know some things have taken way longer than I thought they would. One thing comes to mind was replacing the right inner guard with a metal one and modifying this to allow easier access to the air filter housing, This probably took 2 days, mainly figuring out what to do.

Still heaps of mods to do.

The seats was one of the reasons why I bought this vehicle in the first place.

The car is quite dusty and needs a good clean.

Pic taken before the drivers trim was fitted.

Hoping for rego late next week, all going well.

    Yahoo

We went for the authenticity check today - all good and got rego & plates, gassed the air conditioning etc etc.

We are very impressed with the ride, especially the power and torque at low revs.

Now the fun bits and add ons begin as time permits.
