Started covering the wires with conduit and heat shrinking the ends on to the wires.
Should not get any chaffing now, I hope.
When you find them let me know. I'm yet to find anything that I'm happy with save for buying a battery with a female threaded pole to bolt ring terminals down to.

Any good Auto/Marine electrical supplier will have a good range...there is plenty of info on the net. I get my supplies through Qual Elect. Here

That's better....very neat and tidy![]()
I think I found some terminals I would be happy with.
Now I just have to find something like it in Brisbane.
I found some, not as good as I had hoped but should be better than the previous terminals.
Had to cut the cover slightly to allow the cables out horizontally. The terminals are designed to have the cables come out vertical down the side of the battery, unfortunately this does not work on the Optimas.
Where'd you find the terminals? Had I known I'd have shot you some $$$$ to pick up and post more (if not available locally to myself that is)
Some more goodies for the install.
My fuse boxes, one for the front and one for the cargo area.
Nice one CJT....This type of fuse box keeps it all neat and tidy and in one place, far better than inline fuses and other setups that are akin. If you get stuck for crimps give me a pm as to what you need and I'll post some off to you....well done matey .....keep up the good work...
