    Fullriver Dual Battery

I made a start on the 90 duel battery. First i needed to see which way was going to be the best position for the two & will the 120ah Fullriver actually fit.
Yes it did fit but not how i thought. I rotated the start battery 90deg & moved it to the back of the box & place the duel to the front.
I have to find a new home for the jack & tools but thats no biggie, there is still room to fit the DC to DC charger in time as this set up is only temporary for the Christmas break.
I have one problem i need to lengthen both the positive & negative cables on the start battery, so thats as far as i can go to day, another job for after work.

The final set up will have a 60ah Lithium starting with a 160ah duel with a DC charger for charging the AGM's in the camper trailer.
The weight savings is very impressive 72kg for the lead-acid setup to 27 with two Lithium numbers.

    Cheers

Right, made a start on fitting my duel battery to the 90. Folded up a S/Steel battery tray that would hold the start battery & the 120ah Fullriver second battery. The tray is positioned as far forward as posable with the start battery is sitting close to the door & the duel inbound from the start battery.
To aid clearance on the Fullriver negative terminal i put a double break fold in the black steel cover, i also reversed the retaining angle were the cover slides into. This had to be done as the double break fold raised the cover to clear the terminal. It now looks nearly factory.
Its all fitted but i have not connected the duel, i just ran out of time but that will have to be done this week after work.

    Cheers

All right, the duel battery is now complete, everything is connected & working as it should. Im now running the power feed down to the hitch to charge the twin batteries in the camper. I also have to run power for the Trailblazer in the 90. As i'm running out of time i'm only using inline waterproof fuse holders, eventually i will change this to a BlueSeas spade fuse holder.

    These are dual batteries

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I'm just about to pull out my Ctek D250S DC-DC charger. It'll be going pretty cheap, so feel free to make me an offer if you're interested.

I'd even deliver, if it gives me a chance to scope out your canopy
