Mmmm I'm not sure about it now its on..

Are you happy with the way it has come out?

I think if it was me (which its not) I would like that weave a little tighter.
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

I tend to agree. Looks a bit too much like security screen I think.

Good idea though to come up with a more robust option the the factory plastic.

    Just wait until it painted

The design is the same as the Range Rover Sport's grill, just metal & flat rather than shaped & plastic.

Yep looking forward to seeing it in black.

Ranga you are worried about the security mesh look? Don't buy a series 1 then....

Witchdoctor maybe if the alloy idea doesn't work do a quick detachable wire grille so we always have a BBQ plate handy....
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Yeah I realise that its the same..I will wait to see it in black..

Its just not how I expected it to look....

there is I'm sure a lot less of the pattern on the RR in terms of lines so perhaps that's why it looks odd to me.

Its your vehicle at the end of the day though so if you like it that's all that matter

    Grill is now complete.

This one is made from 2 mm alloy sheet & laser cut, then powder coated satin black. It's fixed to the surround with 5 mm stainless steel nylock nut & button head hex bolt.
Im very happy with the way this has worked out.

    Cheers

Cool. I thought this would be a great idea but it turns out to show too much of the fan etc for my liking.

I'd like an alloy version of the original grille personally but that would probably cost a fortune.
