With a view to a aircon that worked in my 96 Defender and minimum heat in the engine bay a housing was made to fit condenser and 2 300mm fans.A hole was cut in the roof and the rear panel over the rear door. The unit was then sealed to the roof .A scoop made for the inlet and a grill made for the exhaust air

Evap should keep the coke coolthe roof scoop was kept to 54mm high to clear the top off the roof bar by 10mm.More pics as progress

You might have to consider with the extra wind resistance and your air compressor if the cummins will have enough grunt to run AC as wellI suppose you could turn it off on hills

Evaporator mounted up and a couple of lockers along the condenser duct.Wiring was extended and control mounted in the over head consul .The hard part next
running the pipe work![]()
