Back in the shed.
Bled some off.
35 degrees ambient. High side much the same .
Low side down to 15 .
Put a stick thermometer up near the evaporator, got 10 degrees.
Thats a bit better.
If the condenser fan stayed on longer the high side would come down.
, it still shuts off at 200.
Going for a road test on saturday.
As the condensor fan does not see the need to operate on the road I need to plumb a gauge in and stick it to the windscreen to see what the high side is at road speed without the fan.
Still sweats back to compressor with perhaps a hint of frosting now.

I have also recently fitted a Red Dot to my 6x6 replacing the standard system. When I wired it up as per the instructions I found that there was a large voltage drop when the 2nd fan cut in. On the advice of an auto electrician I have run the black & red wires straight to the battery with a relay & now turn it on & off at the switch on the unit. Much better. Paul.
