    Hey Guys,

I have the steel pan, was put in at 80,000kms so now it's pretty easy to switch the trans fluid every 40-50,000kms.

I started getting the EGR engine light and EGR codes last night (my nanocom rocked up yesterday) so I put in some temp blanking plates I had sitting around until I can put in the below kit.

Mines a 2007 (8A Vin number) and since blanking I haven't had the engine light (I cleared it last night).

In regards to the software - in the 07 models or later you are meant to get an engine light - in my opinion, this isn't due to blanking the EGRs, this is just when the EGRs stick open or closed (which they can do whether it's blanked or not). To get rid of the CEL, you either need to replace the EGRs (no point if you've blanked them) or get the CEL written out with some programming.

Roof rack was about $1650 delivered - Might be $1580 + $70 for the shovel holder or thereabouts.

Hi mate, can I assume you're from Brighton Vic? Would love to be able to catch up in person some time and have a look at your rig. Also, is there any chance you could list the tracks you did in order in the high country, and where you stopped for the night as well?
    Regards, Will

    yeah mate, Brighton Vic.
I work in Black Rock. Feel free to come past some time and have a look at the disco mate. I'll be gone most of August tho, driving it to Darwin.

Up the high country we were going to go up Basalt but the blokes I was meeting **** farted around getting there so Saturday we basically scooted up Dargo high plains road and did blue rag Saturday. Coming down Basalt was really icey with a number of vehicles already off the track, so we went back down the high plains road, then in and camped at Grant. Went down Union mine and had a look.

Sunday we went around mcmillans and crooked river to scoot to Billy Goats. A car had rolled so we only got up to the heli pad. went back over kingswell bridge, up Conway track, left on randalls track, right at crooked river, then right up Collingwood spur track and tool the left fork. Crossed Mcmillans at the weird corner crossing and headed down hogtown spur track to the end of crooked river. Then went along the bit of crooked river we hadn't done back to talbotville. then back along mcmillans to camp at grant again.

Monday we had to go into Dargo cuz one bloke needed fuel, then headed south, onto wonangatta road, turned left at I think rock of gilbrator (towards Collins hut). Collins hut is on the left fork, but u can't get through that way, so you go the right fork. big crossing of the wonangatta - if it's flowing hard, be careful. then up scrubby creek track, then castleburn creek track, black range track, then up and over mount budgee budgee which brings you out on the main dargo road to Bairnsdale.

Did an extended version of the same trip a few years back in a previous car - can show you where we went then on the map if you get round to take a look at the disco.

    Cheers
