I've got a double DIN stereo to fit which means HEVAC relocation plus some Alpine speakers for the front doors.
In addition, I've ordered bits to fab up a cold air intake to get this 5.0 breathing. From experience, this should yield both performance and fuel economy gains.
Also got a quote for a full twin 2.25 exhaust system but will get a second opinion. I can't wait for a new exhaust!!
Here is what I have make room for in the dash. It's a double din stereo that uses your smartphone as a screen. This way I can use my nav and OBD2 apps.

In regards to them issues with your windsor....do you have a coolant port in the back of the inlet manifold? It relieves coolant from the water packets in the rear of the head and circulates the coolant correctly....makes a massive difference
You know what, you're the second person to bring that up. I know that Ford did it with the modular V8 for that very reason. I'd imagine it would be a straight forward job, tap some 3/4 into each water port with a crossover hose in between.Quote:

I installed the new stereo too but the interior heat combined with the bumpy ride has buggered up the work I did to relocate the HEVAC.
Yea, later EFI windsors had the same port, its likely in your manifold, I did the mod, years back when I had a 302 windsor....come twin turboed....come 351.....then looked at the motor in my ED XR8 sprint at the time and went oh, look at that, hahaQuote:

Glad to read you fitted a stroker kit....was thinking a stock 302 would be quite lacklustre, but 347 is a nice drivable thing....shame about the heads and piddly exhaust port size, but make nice torque

I couldn't stretch the budget for the 347 unfortunately. It was either the alloy dart heads or the 347. Hindsight says 347 and then heads but nevermind, I'll wait and see how I go. With the new heads it's a real healthy 302, much better than the stock irons.Quote:
