Who has a 130 and can help?

Finally got some time to re make the wood mock up of the sill tank, and also made the strap mounting system.

So now I'm asking for volunteers with a 130 so I can make sure it will fit the different models. I'm in Beechworth but will be going to Melbourne soon for work. If you can help please let me know, I can offer a bit of a discount if you can.

    Cheers , Andrew.

2hrs and no volunteers......ditch the 130 mock up and start one for the 110....I'd be tempted to drive down from Brisbane.

Got one offer via PM! But you're right , I need to do a 110, as soon as I'm confident it all works I will.

What about a 90? I'd love some sill tanks if they aren't too expensive....

Well the steel tanks still have to be freighted! So I'm confident my tanks will definitely be cheaper, with or without freight.
    Cheers, Andrew.

    What he said

For the 110 I may even simply have a 17" removable section in the mould.

Sorry for the delayed reply, haven't been on for a while. I have a 130 in Melbourne and a heavy diesel workshop available in Melbourne to try a mock up.

Have ordered the ally to start making the mold, finalising the design. I have another test fit tomorrow. Thanks to Steve for the first test fit on his 130.

For those familiar with the steel sill tanks, what fittings do they have? I'm planning on a large fill, probably three breathers, fuel out, fuel return, drain plug, fuel level sender.

With the plastic I'll be using threaded brass inserts for the fittings.

Do all breathers end up at the filler or do some vent elsewhere?

And any ideas on fuel level senders, gauges, switches etc be great.

    Cheers,

    Andrew.
