    Home Made RTT

Ive started on a hard shell RTT.

After designing an alloy canopy with opening lid RTT for a mate. I thought build one for your self for the D90.

The hard Shell design is complete & now goes to my CAD guy then of for quotes on all the components to complete the build, Then its up to me.

The bed is 2030 x 1300 wide x 70mm of due density foam.
RTT is 230mm at the rear. The main awning has provision for walls to make a shower/toilet room. The awning is also long enough to cover the ladder during rain periods. The sides also have more openings to allow to catch any breeze available.

    Cheers
    Dave

    Lets try again.

These are the drawing of my hard shell RTT.
Still waiting for my CAD guy to take them & do his magic
Also waiting for a European company to get back to me on this super light fabric for the rtt.

When finished there will be 1.7m to the highest point inside the rtt.
We are also looking at using the space inside to store all of our trip clothing.

    Cheers
