Its interesting,,
would you rather a frame?
or sandwich panel?
Most caravans that age had foam in the frame spaces,, around an inch thickness,,
and if you took the time to work out old school 1" insulation PLUS "window" space --- Vs new 50mm flat panel with more window space ,, it would be interesting to average out the internal temps,
Kitchen is nearly done.

Did you guys start a thread on the Classic Caravan forum at all when you bought the Millard? Can’t remember. If you did, a; update there would be greatly appreciated by the members there. 😊👍
Yes they certainly would appreciate it. There is another van there that has been done from the ground up with both a modern interior but also modern fibreglass flat cladding but it still started as a classic so very welcome and gets very positive comments.
It’s more the Vintage Caravan crowd (pre 65) that tut tut modifications - even down to using Phillips head screws - you should hear that lot carry on, but that’s a different forum.
It would be great if you could - there aren’t many reno’s going on there at the moment, it would generate some good interest. [emoji4][emoji106]

This van should be smick when finished, i thought about doing the same for about 10 minutes then gave myself a slap.
Are you upgrading the axle and springs, the melamine cupboards and shower with xtra tank will eat into your Tare.
Keep up the great work.
