Chopped Ute
Finally got back to the project. Had a bit of cancer in the rear cross member so off it came and a new cross member straight from the top of the chassis and 450 mm closer to the axle is now in its place.

The A frame cross member has also gone now to make way for a better design allowing for the suspension height. The plan is to also put the shock mounts in board of the chassis rail to get better travel / twist out of the rear end. The new tray is 1800 mm long so the whole lot will be exactly the same length as a 110 wagon but with far superior departure angle. Will also let me put in a decent sized fuel tank. More photos in my gallery if anyone is interest.
