Wow, it's been weeks since I have had any time to work on the Hippo but I finally got in a couple of days.
Day 6 & 7
Pulled it all apart again after getting the pass from the engineer and put it all back using sikaflex, lots of rivets and same welding. I also shaped the fibreglass side panels (no pics yet) and temporarily mounted them in place so that I could mark out the cut for the back panel. Shaping and mounting the fibreglass panels took forever but at leat it's all done now.

Also added a bit more metal to the bottom of the back panel to finish it of a bit neater.

Day 8
Finished welding up the side panels and sealed it all with sticky flexible mastick stuff. I then gave it all coat of black rustkill. All this area will be hidden by the fibreglass panel.

Removed all the body mount bolts and the front bumper ready to do the body lift.
