Any progress Paul?
Or is it too damn cold!
PS - geez look at all those goodies! It would have been like Christmas to open them all up!
I got a few bits but mostly just extras of what I already had.

On holidays at the mo....:D:D:D
Spent last week down at Apollo Bay for the Music Festival
Love the Otways - can't believe how green it is down there:o...pity much of the 4wd tracks are now closed:angrylock:
Nonetheless I managed to get the Defender dirty on some back roads:D...not real serious 4wd left but fun all the same - especially after the rain.
This week I am getting ready for driveway....moving rubbish, stacking bricks, wood...geez I keep some cr@p.
I need to make room for donor vehicle (67 SII)....I envy you blokes with more than 1/4 acre block...it's like a Chinese puzzle in my yard at the moment!
Once I get the donor I will dismantle it and start working on the chassis.
Should be here next week, I'll post some more pictures then.
Yarr... the closing of tracks is very grr.
I'll give you another 1/4 acre if you give me all your spare bits...?
I envy people who don't have to travel 3 hours to work on their Landys!
You had this coming... :bangin:

Ahh I feel better now. I am hoping for some progress soon! :(
Ach... Tis a sad tale. :(
You know that I am more than happy to babysit your donor car for you...
It might not still be in one piece when you get it back though!
Well, despite the best of my intentions I have decided to sell the ute. When Olmate (Troy) listed his series 1 (ol ute) I just couldn't say no. So with only a quater acre block in the burbs I have decided to move the Series 2 on.(Well maybe SWMBO also had some input too :p)
I have thought of breaking it and using some of the bits in the S1 but it's just too complete to pull apart.
So there you go, if you thinking of a good project or perhaps you have a series 2 that needs a few original bits - make me an offer. (All the parts and tools come with the vehicle!)
Don't be too scared by the chassis rust, I reckon outriggers and a rear cross member are the main issues - or maybe just transplant it onto a new chassis.
More info in the markets section. I leave it there for a couple of weeks and then stick it on flea bay.
