    Valve Clearances "checked" & "Adjusted"

    Cricky,, all Valve clearanaces were wrong except 1;

    It's very easy to do , BTW this is the first time I've done the valve adjustments myself.

    Filler Gauge 0.203 mm ,

    No 1 Valve adjustment required , too big of a Gap
    No 3 Valve adjustment required , too big of a Gap
    No 5 Valve adjustment required , too big of a Gap
    No 2 Valve adjustment required , tight gap
    No 8 Valve adjustment required , tight gap
    No 6 Valve adjustment required , tight gap
    No 4 Valve Almost spot on , Slight Adjustement required
    No 7 Valve Spot-On

    Alright anyone wishing to do their own adjustments, here is a copy of the instructions I found here.

    Do you really need to remove the top rad hose ? i reckon you could just remove the valve cover and check away.

    yeah you could ,but if the valve clearances are wrong ( as was in my case ) , it's soooooo much easier to crank the crank shaft pully clockwise without the fan ,radiator top hose and intercooler top hose in the way of the braker bar , honestly it's a 5 minutes job extra but you're home. $%$$^ easy.

    BTW I'm installing the jase Intercooler 2morrow ,shoud be awesome

    Thanks for that PDF. I've saved it away in my directory of useful car things for future reference.
