    Most places in the Americas have up for on - as do places influenced by the US. I noticed my villa in Saudia Arabia had up for on, too.

    Down for on indicates British influence (dunno about Europe as I have never been there).

    Just wonder if the position of the switches have something to do with the south or north hemisphere?

    I thought you guys did that just to confuse me when I visit..

    When I helped an Australian friend (stranded in the US for a while) build a truck for the OBC he insisted on down for on, I figured it was just the beer we consumed while discussing the truck.

    2nd unit of home brew Dash board, same material different layout. 2 empty holes (25mm) prepare for 12v cigarettes lighter socket. Additional 2 LED light bars will be fitted by this everning. Customer request no voltmeter. Delivery to customer tomorrow. Complete photos will be posted after completion of fitting to customer Def110.
    3rd unit is on the way and estimated to finish by next week.

    That would look pretty flash in clear perspex with a Land Rover emblem etched into it and a few LED bulbs strategically placed.

    Why then are the Carling switches sold by MUDStuff opposite to the Carling Switches used by ARB ?
